Subscribing to Event Updates

Event subscriptions let you receive notifications when changes happen to events you're following. Subscribe to the events you care about and stay informed without monitoring them manually.

How subscriptions work

When you subscribe to an event, you'll receive notifications about relevant changes:

  • Event details (name, venue, dates)
  • Booking updates (times, stages, status changes)
  • Travel arrangements (flights, transport, accommodation)
  • Advancing information

Notifications are delivered based on your notification preferences, through email, push notifications, or Stagent's notification center.

Learn all about notifications here.

Subscribing to an event

  1. Open the event you want to follow
  2. Click Subscribe on the Subscribers card

Your avatar will appear in the subscriber list, confirming your subscription.

Unsubscribing from an event

  1. Open the event
  2. Click Unsubscribe on the Subscribers card

You can also be removed by another team member with edit permissions.

Viewing current subscribers

The Activity tab shows all current subscribers for an event. You'll see their avatars and, if viewing from an agency account, which team they belong to.

Team members with edit permissions can remove other subscribers from the list.

Automatic subscriptions

Stagent can automatically subscribe you to events in two scenarios:

When you create an event

By default, you're automatically subscribed to any event you create. This keeps you informed as your team adds details and makes changes.

You can disable this behavior:

  1. Click your avatar in the bottom left corner
  2. Go to Personal Settings > Notifications
  3. Uncheck Auto-subscribe to events I create
  4. Click Save

When your artist has a confirmed booking

If you're part of an artist team and your artist has a confirmed booking at an event, you'll automatically be subscribed. This ensures you receive updates about upcoming performances without needing to manually subscribe.

These automatic subscriptions are removed if the booking is cancelled and no other confirmed bookings remain.

Artist team subscriptions

Artist team members receive a filtered set of notifications focused on performance-relevant information:

  • Booking times and stage assignments
  • Travel logistics
  • Advancing details

You won't receive notifications about financial details, contracts, or invoices—those stay with the agency team.

Importantly, artist team members only receive notifications for confirmed bookings. While a booking is still pending or tentative, no notifications are sent to the artist team.
