How to Generate Your First Contract for a Booking on Stagent

Congratulations on your first booking on Stagent! Now that you have secured a client, it's time to generate a contract to ensure a smooth and professional transaction. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of creating your first contract on Stagent.

To begin, log into your Stagent account and navigate to the "Bookings" section. Here, you will see a list of all your current bookings.

Find the booking for which you want to generate your first contract and click on it to open the event overview and continue by navigating to the documents page. Alternatively, start by creating your first booking.

On the documents page, click on the "Generate Contract" button. You will now see the contract builder, including all of the event and booking information, which is automatically generated. Select one of your contract templates or create your specific contract from scratch.

Once the contract is to your liking, press ''Next'' to continue by including attachments such as riders and custom presskits as part of the contract. Once the correct attachements have been selected, press ''Create''.

Your contract is now in draft. From here you can edit or view the contract to ensure everything is accurate. If everything looks good, click on the "Send Contract" button to make final sending changes (change the signer, add additional recipients, etc.), before pressing ''send''.

You can track the status of your contract on the contracts page. Once your client has reviewed and signed the contract using our eSignature feature, it will be marked as "Signed". You can also make any necessary edits or updates to the contract if needed.
