How to Set-up Stripe Connect for Online Payments on Stagent

Stripe Connect is a payment processing service that allows businesses to accept online payments securely and easily. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of setting up Stripe Connect for your Stagent account, allowing you to receive payments on your invoices automatically.

Step 1: Go to your Invoice Preferences

Once logged in on your Stagent account, navigate to your team settings from the left menu. On the settings page, go to your 'invoice preferences' where you will be able to start setting up the Stripe Connect integration.

Step 2: Enable Stripe Connect to Stagent

Directly at the top of the invoice preferences page, you'll find the Stripe Connect module. Continue by pressing ''Set up Stripe Connect''.

You will be redirected to the Stripe Client where you can follow their basic registration process to start receiving payments digitally for your outgoing invoices.

Step 3: Ready to Go!

Once completed, Stagent will automatically generate a payment link on all your outgoing invoices, allowing your clients to pay the invoice directly with ease. Stagent logs incoming payments under their corresponding invoices and change the status of the invoice dynamically.

Every charge made through Stripe Connect requires a small transaction fee to be paid, based on our application fee and Stripe's processing fees. Stagent's application fee is automatically deducted (see diagram below) in the form of a percentage: 1.8% (for a charge of 10$ this means 18¢).
