Managing team details and settings
Let’s start with the basics—your team details. These details and general settings are used throughout Stagent to personalize contracts, invoices, and more. In this guide, we’ll go over each aspect and explain where they are used.
Team details and settings can be found by clicking on your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select 'Team settings'. On the settings page, go to either the Details or Settings under the Team section.
Team details
This section allows you to set up key information about your team that will be displayed on invoices, contracts, and statements.
- Avatar and team name: Used to distinguish your teams within Stagent. Set an avatar and name that that matches your artist or agency profile.
- Company details, address, and logo: These details appear on all invoices, contracts, and financial statements. Ensure that you are using the correct VAT number and company number, if applicable, and that your company’s address and logo are up-to-date to maintain a professional appearance in all buyer communications.
- Account deletion: If you need to delete your team, you can do so from the this section within the 'Danger zone'. Please note that this action is irreversible. More info can be found here.
Team settings
Team settings allow you to set defaults that help speed up the creation of events and bookings. Keep in mind, these settings can always be adjusted for each event or booking.
- Default currency, artist and booking fee VAT percentage: Set the default currency and VAT percentages for both artists and booking fees. These defaults are automatically applied when creating new events, saving you time during setup.
- Default booking fee: Define how booking fees are calculated—choose between a percentage, a flat fee, or a combination of both. You can also specify if the booking fee should be inclusive (built into the total) or added on top of the artist fee.
- Automated event status: Enable this option to allow Stagent to automatically update event statuses based on certain actions. For example, sending contracts or invoices will change the status to ‘Pending,’ and once payments are received, it will automatically update to ‘Advancing.’ This automation helps keep your event management organized and up-to-date without manual intervention.
- Managing non-exclusive artists [Agencies]: Agencies can enable this setting to manage artists who are not exclusively represented by your team. This option provides flexibility when working with a broader range of talent.
