Using the booking request widget
The booking request widget in Stagent is a powerful tool to help you receive more booking requests directly through your website. Available for both Solo and Agency teams, this article will guide you through the steps to install the widget and start gaining more requests.
1. Go to Calendar
Navigate to the Calendar page and open to the Tools section in the right column, there you'll find the 'Booking widget' button which opens a window.
Agencies can also navigate directly to a specific artist through the roster. From the artist’s calendar, to generate a unique widget script for that specific artist.
2. Customize your widget
Before using the widget, you may want to spice things up a little. You can customize its appearance, select a font family, and configure additional preferences to suit your needs.
By default, artists marked as unavailable on specific dates will not be bookable. However, you can change this by enabling the ‘Book unavailable days’ option.
3. Add the widget to your website
Once the widget is set up, you can add it to your website. Stagent provides a code snippet that you can easily embed. Just copy and paste the code into your website’s <head>

4. Controlling the widget

5. Enjoy your calendar integration
High five! When a buyer submits a booking request through the widget, it will appear in Stagent with the status 'Requested'. A notification will also be sent to your team, make sure you have notifications enabled in your personal settings.
